This non-narrative film is a sensory exploration of that terrain, anchored by globally renowned rider Forrest Minchinton.

The film bridges two worlds: Forrest’s upbringing in the raw, Costa Rican lifestyle and his time carving through the barren Mojave Desert and the Californian beaches. Beyond a display of stylish freestyle riding, the film explores a deep cultural parallel. For generations, the sabanero (the traditional Costa Rican cowboy) has defined this land through his bond with his horse. By weaving the sabanero into the visual narrative, together with its native landscapes and wildlife, the motorcycle becomes a modern extension of that same spirit—a mechanical beast navigating the wildlands.

This dialogue between the past and present gradually builds throughout the film, ultimately converging in a final, striking shot of the horse and motorcycle riding side-by-side across the flat, open savanna. My goal was to evoke the intense, raw texture of the land, capturing a timeless sense of freedom where machine, animal, and earth become one.
